Responsibilities

  • Apply your knowledge developing multithreaded software applications to help us create complex physical simulations.
  • You will apply technologies in multiple domain/problem areas (structural engineering, physics, geotechnical to name a few).
  • You will apply your knowledge to solve challenging real-world customer problems and communicate complex concepts to non-expert audiences.
  • Use your experience with large scale software design and architecture to create products that automate the development of intel products.
  • Apply efficient planning, optimization, and heuristic search techniques in potentially complex spaces to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Your use of probabilistic reasoning and uncertainty management or quantification will maximize confidence in solutions provided to users.
  • Your understanding of business rules, productions and procedural generation will help you to develop code that greatly exceeds current capabilities.
  • You will use your experience in the areas of knowledge representation, discovery, query, and management systems to develop systems that rapidly search and locate data within vast data stores.
  • You’ll be working closely with a collaborative team so your team player personality and excellent written/oral communication skills will be essential.

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • BS in Computer Science or a related discipline;
  • Demonstrable C++ development skills with experience in an applied development environment (e.g., industry, government, graduate programs);
  • Ability to produce examples of your development using C++ and/or Java;
  • Positive experiences in both team and individual environments;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; and
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance (i.e., United States citizen required).
