Bennett AerospaceInc. has an *immediate* opening for a highly motivated Subject Matter Expert III in support of  a Federal Law Enforcement client located in Arlington, VA and the D.C. Metropolitan Area.  The successful candidate will support all professional and technical services to the law enforcement unit.  In addition, the successful candidate will report directly and responsively to the Bennett Aerospace Program Manager on all immediate project work.

 

Job Description:

 

A qualified Subject Matter Expert III will work independently. This individual will provide management with expert scholarly advice, and consultation to projects and professional co-workers in furtherance of the agency’s mission.

Responsibilities

Duties may include providing administrative support as follows:

 

  • Applies expert and highly specialized knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze data, and develop conclusions, recommendations, and strategies
  • Exhibits expertise in performing a specialized job, task, or skill
  • Possesses greater-than-normal expertise or insight relative to a particular technical or operational discipline, system, or process, and has been selected or appointed to use such expertise to solve a particular problem
  • Assists project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in specialty areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

 

Education and Experience:

  • Must have a Master’s degree or higher in a scientific, technical, or business discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive work experience, culminating in current role as a senior technical/business professional who acts as an adviser in complex and critical client projects
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • General knowledge of Information Technology systems and Communication tools

 

Abilities and Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
