Bennett AerospaceInc. has an opening for a highly motivated Program Analyst III in support of  a Federal Law Enforcement client located in the Washington, DC Division Office.  The successful candidate will support all professional and technical services to the financial resources unit.  In addition, the successful candidate will receive guidance from the government technical lead and report directly and responsively to the Bennett Aerospace Program Manager.

 

Job Description:

 

A qualified Program Analyst III will provide management oversight and administrative support for the program. This individual will coordinate interdepartmental development of program plans and interface with other sections and offices.

Responsibilities

Duties may include providing administrative support as follows:

 

  • Develops plans including budgets, allocations, and schedules to meet various operational project requirements for the assigned portion of a program;
  • Conducts in-depth analysis of a wide variety of sources, studies, and/or audits as established/planned in the program requirements;
  • Participates in establishing and defining program plan requirements;
  • Evaluates, monitors, and reports performance against plans to ensure guidelines meet appropriate procedures and policies;
  • Reports, analyzes, and interprets financial and operating data;
  • Formulate, implement, and is accountable for fiscal and budgeting processes, regulatory compliance, fund accountability, and adherence to directives at subordinate offices of the Division;
  • Oversee a yearly operational budget of $1 million plus dollars;
  • Compile data from a wide variety of sources (e.g. vendors, staff, public agencies, etc.) for the purpose of analyzing issues, ensuring compliance with a wide variety of purchasing policies and procedures, and/or monitoring purchasing processes to include the bidding process;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must have 4 years of relevant administrative and finance experience.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Possess knowledge of applying analytic methodologies and principles to address program needs.
  • Solid database and data analyst skills required.

 

Abilities and Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to details.
  • Position requires strong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to solve complex problems and work in a team environment.
