Bennett AerospaceInc. has an opening for a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst in support of  a Federal Law Enforcement client located in Arlington, VA.  The successful candidate will provide professional and technical support services to the agency and report directly to the Bennett Aerospace Program Manager.

 

Job Description:

 

A qualified Senior Business Analyst performs analysis and related support functions relevant to resource and strategic planning.  This position is responsible for managing and maintaining databases as well as analyzing, manipulating and presenting results to determine program needs.

Responsibilities

Duties may include providing administrative support as follows:

  • Performs data analysis, conducts research and prepares deliverables designed to assess and identify resource allocation needs;
  • Assists in identifying and improving business processes, procedures, and performance;
  • Assists in performing financial analyses and interpreting cost and expense variances;
  • Compiles, exports and analyzes financial and programmatic information from various databases and sources;
  • Assists in writing business requirements for database systems;
  • Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables;
  • Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, forecasts, reports, and presentations;
  • Identifies trends and developments based on the analysis of large databases and presents findings to senior management;
  • Assists with performance measurement and tracking performance related metrics;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • General knowledge in working with Information Technology systems.
  • General knowledge of agile development is a plus!

 

Abilities and Skills:

  • Must be highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Must have experience working with large datasets, using if statements, Pivot Tables and V-lookups.
  • Must have strong technical and analytical skills and experience with database management.
  • Must have the ability to analyze complex problems, with attention to detail, and working in a team environment.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
