Bennett AerospaceInc. has an *immediate* opening for a highly motivated Management Analyst I in support of  a Federal Law Enforcement client located in Chicago, IL.  The successful candidate will support all professional and technical services to the law enforcement unit.  In addition, the successful candidate will report directly and responsively to the Bennett Aerospace Program Manager on all immediate project work.

A qualified Management Analyst I will gather and organize information about the problem to be solved or the procedure to be improved.

Responsibilities

Duties may include providing administrative support as follows:

  • Organize clerical processes and gather/maintain basic project status information;
  • Handle requests for information and data; resolve administrative problems and inquiries;
  • Prepare and modify documents including reports, draft memos, cables, and emails;
  • Create, input and track the progress of incoming/outgoing documents through various offices;
  • Prepare statistical reports and manage spreadsheets;
  • Coordinate travel arrangements; prepare itineraries; input travel authorizations into financial system, and process travel vouchers and records;
  • Analyze financial and other data;
  • Develop solutions or alternative practices;
  • Recommend new systems, procedures, or organizational changes;
  • Make recommendations to management through presentations or written reports;
  • Confer with managers to ensure that recommended changes are working;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REducation and Experience:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
  • Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • General knowledge of Information Technology systems and Communication tools.
  • Solid database and Business analyst skills required.

 

 Abilities and Skills:

  • Requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to solve complex problems and work in a team environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume, tight deadline environment.
