Job Description:


The Recruiter will work closely with the headquarters recruiting team, the local program management team and HR staff to perform candidate searches, review resumes, conduct candidate screening interviews by phone and in person, and prioritize potential candidates for placement on government projects. 


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


Core duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned

  • Perform the full life cycle recruiting process of assessment, sourcing, identifying, vetting, selecting and hiring qualified candidates.
  • Determination of customers position requirements through interviews & requirements review
  • Creation of job postings, candidate searches, resume collection, candidate interviews and vetting, database mining, and database creation.
  • Engage with recruiting network and review current applicants in database for specific positions
  • Screen and prioritize resumes by position and location.
  • Create, maintain and manage the employee recruitment databases.
  • Conduct phone screenings with qualitied candidates.
  • Prepare correspondence, email, and other documents as required.
  • Prepare Offer Letters, Employment Agreements, and NDA, as required.
  • Move to onboarding, as required.
  • Assist Human Resources as needed including; new employee orientation, processing on-boarding paperwork, counseling, and other tasks.
  • Other duties and responsibilities not mentioned explicitly may also be required as needed to support the local office.


Education and Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years combined experience as a full life cycle recruiter in a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or University.
  • Any HR certification would be preferred.

Training and Experience:


  • A personal style which encompasses a consultative approach to customer relationship management.
  • Ability to speak easily and smoothly on the phone with customers and potential candidates (including being comfortable with making cold calls to potential candidates).
  • Ability to represent Bennett Aerospace in the best possible light to customers and candidates.
  • Prepare correspondence, e-mail, and other documents as requested. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Schedule and organize meetings/interviews for customers/candidates through the use of MS Outlook and e-mail invites, with phone call follow-ups as needed.
  • Handle confidential information and correspondence, including preparing offer letters for signature and overseeing the receipt and completion of accepted documents.
  • Establish, develop, maintain, and update recruiting database management system, including scanning paper files to computerized filing system and retrieving information from files when needed.
  • Work independently and within a team on special or ongoing projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate advanced MS Word skills.
  • Must be a team player, proactive, and possess excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
