Job Description:


Bennett Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated, Operations Support Specialist (USASOC). The successful candidate will directly support the US Army Special Operations Command at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina. 


The successful candidate will serve as an Operations Support Specialist (Project Administrator) to provide a wide range of administrative program management support, analysis, investigation of new technologies, and assistance in carrying out responsibilities for all phases of development and execution of Science and Technology initiatives.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned

  • Set up administrative policies and procedures for offices and perform general office duties such as
    ordering supplies, maintaining records and management systems.
  • Manage information technology requirements in coordination with USASOC G6 and KM.
  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries, agendas, and make
    arrangements for program reviews and other meetings as well as attend meetings in order to record
    and distribute minutes.
  • Review operating practices and procedures in order to determine whether improvements can be
    made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures.
  • Prepare recurring office status reports based on input from other team m embers.
  • Coordinate and perform office services, such as records and budget preparation, personnel, in
    order to aid executives.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by senior leaders.
  • Track and account for financial resource allocation, distribution, obligation and expenditures.
  • Manage and maintain schedules and make travel arrangements.
  • Complete other duties as required by Bennett Aerospace.


Education and Experience:


  • 3-5 years of experience in administrative and clerical procedures and systems
  • Familiarity with procedures for staffing military correspondence within a Headquarters organization
  • Associate degree minimum education required: bachelor's desired

Security Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen due to US Government security requirements;
  • Must have at a minimum a SECRET security clearance.

Abilities and Skills:

  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Expert in USASOC GOTS and COTS packages including the entire MS Office Suite, Adobe Forms Software and MS
  • Skilled in administrative procedures, including professional communications, filing, and use of forms
  • Familiarity with Information Technology concepts
