    Bennett AerospaceInc. has an *immediate* opening for a highly motivated Business Capture Manager located at the Headquarters office in Cary, NC.  The Successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Federal capture efforts with the Business Development team in pursuit of new business pursuits and contract expansions on Federal Services contract opportunities. Will also manage the direct capture of large, strategic opportunities and interface directly with customers and partners, while working with internal Business Development and Proposal employees to provide successful, winning proposals. The successful candidate will bring a proven competency and demonstrated understanding of new business generation across all contract types, complex solutions development and selling, and effective management of medium to large-scale contract pursuits.


    Key Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Responsible for supporting the pursuit of revenue from government agencies

    • Maintain direct Capture accountability on strategic capture efforts

    • Support capture management by coordinating market analysis, competitor analysis, gap analysis, and teaming activities in alignment with firm strategy and objectives

    • Utilize capture tools (e.g., GovWin, FedBizOpps)

    • Maintain pipeline of opportunities in a collaborative digital workspace

    • Present summaries of fully investigated opportunities to Business Development Team and Executive Management

    • Assist and advise in efforts throughout the proposal process from pipeline management to proposal delivery, to include proposal writing, proposal color team reviews, and direct coordination with proposal manager(s) and writer(s)

    • Develop and implement activities/actions for win-strategy development; overall capture strategies, proposal win strategies, technical/management strategies, and pricing strategies to shape and secure contracts

    • Maintain ability to work closely with related Business Development and other corporate functions as needed to advance new business strategies

    • Assist in the development of successful pricing strategies, Price to Win inputs, identifying risks, and interpreting solicitation requirements

    • Support the identification, vetting, and final negotiation of teaming agreements that facilitate business partnerships on captured efforts

    • Contribute to the development of customer profiles and competitive assessments

    • Independently, or with another team member, attend partner meetings and government and industry sponsored events, including industry days, APBIs, conferences, and socials, as needed


    Job Requirements:


    Education and Experience:


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in either Business or Marketing

    • 5+ years applicable experience -or- equivalent combination of education and experience


    Prefered Qualifications:

    • Academic Discipline:  Masters in either Business or Engineering

    • Years/Area of Experience: 5+

    • Applications: Proficiency in MS Office Suite

    • Industry Experience: Government contracting, preferred

    • Strong intellectual interest in government compliance and contracting

    • Must be articulate, adaptable, and able to work with a variety of personalities and individuals from various backgrounds such as program managers, executive management, government contracting office, and industry professionals

    • Able to work with diverse teams and provide quality input and recommendations aimed at improving overall program success

    • Expert in spreadsheet development, manipulation, and management. Must be quick learner with new databases, portals, and systems

    • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

    • Gathers and analyzes information skillfully

    • Develops alternative solutions

    • Works well in group problem solving situations

    • Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics

    • Ability to manage difficult situations


    Abilities and Skills:

    • Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

    • Self-motivated with minimal oversight.


    Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.

    Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance if required.
